PA Health Ride Joins The Pittsburgh Family Bike Ride 2009

Summer just flies by, doesn’t it?  Suddenly it’s July 4th and it’s time to think about what kinds of delicious confections you might create for friends and family.  Holidays always give me a good excuse to bake.  As always, I will post pictures of my edible art… but I still haven’t decided on anything.

Otherwise, the last two weeks have been a great exhale following the relaunch of my portoflio site.  It takes so much time to go through samples, let alone design a site.  I have bigger and better ideas for my site, but as I am on the move, this one will have to do for now.  But stay tuned… I’ve got the real thing stewing on the back burner!

Up and early this morning creating mockups for a new clients website.  Will post more when I can, but it’s classified “top secret” for now.

On a last note… I’m not sure I’ve ever known an artist that was not an eccentric human being, in one way or another.  Sometimes the folks looking in from the outside, these same people that live their lives by the text book, can hold onto these eccentricities rather than appreciate the gift that an artist brings.  Sure, Michael Jackson might have been a strange cat.  But his true legacy should and should always be his art.

It sure feels nice to have finished up the revamp on my site.  So many hours spent pulling all of my work together!  Not to mention, the projects just keep rolling on in.  I’ve been doing everything from print ads to more baby announcements. Check out the samples for yourself soon on my website, but until then, here’s a preview of the baby announcement design.

Keeping very busy these days. Working on a few websites, assorted law firm advertisements, branding packages, and a logo design, along with the rest of the assorted print and multimedia deliverables from the daily grind.

And that’s not all! I’m also currently rebuilding www.melaniemagicdesigns.com. Apologies to anyone looking for the site, but I hope you can find what you need here, at least for interim.
